Rev. C.J. den Dulk
PastorPastor C.J. and Linda have 5 children, two of whom are married. Pastor C.J. attended Calvin College and then went to Westminster Seminary in California for 3 years. Because of a denominational requirement, we moved back to Michigan where Pastor C.J. attended Calvin Seminary for one year. It was there where he was drawn to Trinity CRC in Sparta by a 3x5 card looking for a catechism teacher on Wednesdays. He has helped out Trinity CRC since 1990 when he taught catechism classes and filled in for pulpit supply followed by a one-year internship and then was ordained in 1992. We have been blessed to serve Trinity CRC for many years. To God be the Glory!
Rev. Shaun M. Furniss
PastorPastor Shaun is the husband to Amanda and the dad to Isaac, Abby and Levi. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Reformed Bible College and continued his education at Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi where he earned a Master’s of Art in Marriage and Family Therapy and Counseling and a Master of Divinity. Upon graduation, he received a call from Trinity C.R.C. of Sparta to serve as an associate pastor. It was during this time that he met his wife, Amanda, who had grown up at Trinity. Then in 2014, he received a call from North Street C.R.C. of Zeeland where he served as their senior pastor until December of 2021, when he received a call to return to Trinity as a co-pastor alongside Pastor C.J. In addition to his responsibilities at Trinity, Shaun serves on the Steering Committee of the Abide Project and is involved with Reformed Youth Services (R.Y.S.).
